Appraisals + Authentications
The Fine Arts Museums and Museum staff are prohibited from offering valuations, appraisals, or authentications for works of art. Appraisals and authentications should be carried out by a certified appraiser or reputable auction house.
Ticket Donations
Each year the de Young and Legion of Honor receive hundreds of requests for ticket donations to support fundraising efforts by non-profit organizations in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Ticket donations will operate as follows: Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco will donate four (4) complimentary general admission tickets upon request to each non-profit organization [501(c)(3)] that directly benefits children’s education.
